Unique in Germany – Samuel-Heinicke-Fachoberschule in Munich

Located in the west of Munich, Samuel-Heinicke-Fachoberschule is an upper secondary school of applied sciences dedicated to teaching talented students with hearing impairment in reverse integration classes. We emphasise individual facilitation in small classes (about 14 students).

As our concept is based on integration and inclusion, hearing students also attend our school. We mainly teach orally and partly bilingually, using German Sign Language.

Students can decide which faculty they want to attend:

·Technology

·Economics

·Arts and Design

·Social Sciences

Graduates of our school have a subject-linked university entrance qualification (after two years) or a general higher education entrance qualification (after three years).

Our staff consists of teachers, a deaf teacher for sign-language and a counselling office for students with special needs.
